A tweet from Xbox's new gaming chief, Asha Sharma, suggests the company is serious about developing a next-generation console that can run games from Valve's Steam platform.

Microsoft's Xbox division has confirmed it's working on a new console, code-named Project Helix.

Now, a social media post from Xbox CEO Asha Sharma reveals that the next Xbox console is being developed under the code name “Project Helix” and will be part of “the return of Xbox.”
