Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin said Tuesday that last week’s rocket explosion spared fuel tanks and some other critical parts of the launch pad.

Blue Origin says critical fuel tanks and other vital components of its massive New Glenn rocket and launch pad were spared during last week’s explosion at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Incidents like these can put workers at risk, damage expensive infrastructure, scatter debris into nearby communities and shorelines, and delay projects tied to both public and commercial services.
