Floods in Hengzhou, China, damaged a snake farm, leading to the escape of over 900 snakes, including potentially lethal cobras. As terrifying videos of snakes in flooded areas go viral, a special team works to capture the reptiles while officials warn residents.

Around 900 snakes – many of them venomous – are on the loose after Typhoon Maysak swept through the region, causing flooding that has so far killed 39 people, according to state media.

The escaped reptiles, including venomous cobras, slithered into homes and through filthy floodwater after a nearby reservoir collapsed.
