Burleson is located in Johnson County, south of Fort Worth, an area that has been affected by the storm system impacting much of the region. Residents across North Texas have been bracing for hazardous road conditions, icy surfaces and potential power disruptions as temperatures drop.

Equipment failure, not winter weather, is to blame for a power outage that left more than 600 customers in the Blytheville area without electricity.
