The robot is designed to automatically follow a visible line, usually black on a white surface or white on a black surface. At the front of the robot, infrared (IR) sensors are fixed close to the ground. These sensors continuously detect the color difference between the line and the surface. When both sensors detect the line, the robot moves straight forward.
