However, I try to stick to this ratio: 4 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp mirin (do not substitute with sake) 1 tbsp brown sugar Pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, and honey are all great ways to jazz up this sauce too. This is enough sauce for 2 people. Splash it over rice, dip fried tempura with it, or glaze it onto grilled or sauteed meats right before you’re done cooking (my preferred method)!"
