The Barnegat Branch Trail aka BBT #Why it’s a “hidden gem” worth visiting • The trail is a “rail-to-trail” conversion along the former track bed of the Central Railroad of New Jersey’s Barnegat Branch Division, opening in segments with the first portions in use since 2007.  • It will ultimately stretch ~15.6 miles from Barnegat Township to Toms River in Ocean County, New Jersey.  • Currently, you’ll ride through lovely sections of pine-barrens forest, cross old railroad bridges, and enjoy long
